Vision without a feedback loop is just a hallucination.
We are officially in the “Execution Gap” of the first quarter. You have the Dream (you know where you want to go). You have the Operator (you’re working hard). But if you aren’t seeing the Momentum, the missing link is almost always Accountability.
In Momentum & Mastery, I talk about Accountability not as a “manager” looking over your shoulder, but as a system of truth. Most entrepreneurs drift because they are only accountable to themselves—and they are very good at lying to themselves. We tell ourselves that ‘clearing the inbox’ was a win, when in reality, we avoided the three sales calls that actually drive the machine.
Closing the Gap with the WRAP Sheet
To move from Drift to Drive, you need a high-leverage feedback loop. You need to stop measuring effort and start measuring outcomes.
How to build your 2026 Accountability System:
- The Truth in Numbers: High-performance coaches like Andy Frisella or Jocko Willink preach ‘extreme ownership.’ In my world, that means looking at your WRAP data every Friday. Did the work you did actually result in the outcome you planned?
- Kill the “Activity Trap”: If a task doesn’t directly support your ‘Qualified Champion’ status or your primary ‘Exposure’ goal, it’s a distraction. Accountability is the courage to say “No” to the low-leverage “shoulds.”
- The External Mirror: Whether it’s a coach, a mastermind, or a Skool group, you need someone to ask you the hard questions you’re avoiding.
Accountability is the difference between a business that survives on adrenaline and a machine that thrives on systems.
This Week’s Mastery Question: What is the one metric you are most afraid to look at right now? That is exactly where your next breakthrough is hiding.
Your Coach,
Spencer Combs
